ABOUT OUR KITTENS
**ALL SPIRRITZ PET KITTENS ARE NEUTERED PRIOR TO LEAVING**
We only let our kittens go to indoor homes or to homes with a secure garden or enclosure. Also, we have never let a kitten go to a home where it will be without company for the majority of the day. Maine Coons are very sociable, they don't like being left by themselves for hours at a time.
All kittens are raised in our home, they are born and stay in our kitten room until they are 7/8 weeks old, then they are allowed the run of the house, meeting our adult cats and dog, whilst getting used to normal household noises.
Kittens stay with us until they are 15/16 weeks of age, they are fully weaned and litter trained before leaving. They receive a full course of Flu and Enteritis vaccinations, are microchipped and all pet kittens are neutered at 13/14 weeks old prior to leaving us.
Reservations are only taken after you have come to visit us, at which time a deposit of £100 is payable. We welcome visits to meet the kittens after they have received their first vaccinations at 9/10 weeks of age.
Please note desposits are non-refundable unless, for whatever reason, we are unable to provide a kitten.
We reserve the right to refuse to sell any kitten to anyone at any time for any reason.
We do not sell kittens as gifts. Nor will we allow kittens to move to their new homes at Christmas, they stay with us until the festive period is over.
Our kittens leave with a goodie bag containing food samples and toys, they are insured with either Petplan or Agria and an advice/care sheet. Every kitten is registered with the G.C.C.F. and/or T.I.C.A., they receive their own individual pedigree and registration certificate. You will be required to sign a Sales Agreement when you collect your kitten.
Very occasionally we may have adults cats available. We are very careful on the homes we choose for these cats, we want them to go to permanent homes, where they can be the centre of attention and have a lap that they don't have to share.
