Hi, my name is Sharon Casey, and I am situated close to Edinburgh in East Lothian.  With the support of my husband, Mike, I have been breeding Maine Coons for 8 years.

My  love of Maine Coons started 15 years go, while visiting a local cat show I saw a gorgeous boy with a gentle expression in his eyes.    A year later, Dillon, a silver tabby Maine Coon entered my life.  I was warned one was not enough, and sure enough it has proved to be true. 

After dabbling in showing my household pets, I wanted to try showing pedigrees.  Sadly Dillon didn't enjoy shows so the search was on for a show neuter.  A year later Minne arrived followed by Bobert 2 years after that.  Both Minnie and Bobert were wonderful show cats, enjoying travelling the country and all the attention they received at shows.  From there it was a natural progression to start breeding these gorgeous cats.

My girls live in the home with access to spacious outdoor runs, where they can get fresh air, sunshine and watch the birds and rabbits that frequent my garden.  The boys live in heated purpose built houses with access to an enclosed garden, which they love.  All my breeding cats are screened for healthy hearts and hips.

All our kittens are born in the kitten room and when old enough they are allowed free run of my home, ensuring they are well socialised.  I aim to breed large healthy kittens with the gentle temperament Maine Coons are renowned for. 

My prefix 'Spirritz' is registered with both the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (G.C.C.F.) and The International Cat Association (T.I.C.A.).  All kittens are registered with either G.C.C.F. or T.I.C.A. or can be dual registered if required.
