Hi and welcome to our website where you can meet the beautiful Maine Coon cats that enrich our lives.

We live in a little village in East Lothian, Scotland about 45 minutes from the centre of Edinburgh.  We have been owned by cats for 30 years and Maine Coon Cats since 1999, when Dillon joined us.  Well, as we were warned, one was definitely not enough and we were then joined by Minnie in 2000 and Bobert in 2002, these were our first pedigree show cats.  From there it was a natural progression to start breeding with our first litter being born in 2004.

Our prefix 'Spirritz' is registered with both the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (G.C.C.F.) and The International Cat Association (T.I.C.A.).  Why is our prefix Spirritz (pronounced spirits)?  Well, the village we live in has a distillery at it's heart and Mike is employed there, as spirits play such an important part in our lives, we felt it was the perfect prefix for us. 

Occasionally we have Maine Coon kittens available to loving permanent homes.  All our kittens are registered with the G.C.C.F. and can be dual registered with T.I.C.A. if required.   We are always available to talk about cats, and not just Maine Coons!
